In 2013, the CEO of WEFCOS Jacqueline Franjou asked 37EAST to direct the overall development of the second edition of Women’s Forum Brazil. We collaborated directly with MSL Brasil, with the program director, Jennifer Milliken and operational director Magali Marrannes.
We were responsible for developing the budget, overseeing the local media, coordinating the teams and taking the conference a step further.
We thus decided to bring to this second edition of Women’s Forum Brazil two initiatives that are staples of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting: Rising Talents and CEO Champions. Along with Jennifer Milliken, we also decided to multiply the sessions with parallel sessions and workshops.
A Brazilian Rising Talent alumna, the Rio-based graffiti artist and activist Panmela Castro, was invited to paint during the conference – as she did in Deauville.
We also decided to highlight a foreign delegation: South Africa.
As a result: 550 delegates attended the 2013 Women’s Forum Brazil, including 69 speakers. Thirty four corporations, organizations and media partnered with the conference, and 21 countries were represented.
